Our Corporate Story

Reliable Manufacturing Technology Against Radiation

Lead Glove Radiation Protection Technologies is a direct manufacturer of medical and industrial radiation protective gloves. In our modern integrated manufacturing facility in Ikitelli OSB, we produce gloves in compliance with international standards (CE & ISO) to protect the hands of medical professionals, veterinarians, and industrial test operators from the hazards of scattered radiation.

Thanks to our leaded and lead-free elastomer casting technology developed by our R&D department, we have made our gloves extremely flexible, thin, and ergonomic without sacrificing radiation attenuation performance. As a direct manufacturer, we offer the fastest response to public tenders, bulk purchases, and custom thickness/size requests.

International Standards

International Protection & Safety Norms

CE 2163 & EU 2016/425

PPE Glove Certification

Our gloves are produced in full compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations and have been tested and certified by accredited international bodies.

IEC 61331-1 & ASTM 2547

Attenuation & Spectrometer Testing

The radiation shielding and tensile-elongation performance of our gloves are periodically verified using X-ray spectrometers in lab environments compliant with IEC standards.

SAFETY OCTOBER 2026

What Happens If Lead Gloves Are Not Used?

Skipping lead gloves during interventional procedures exposes the hands of surgical personnel to scattered X-ray radiation. Over time, this cumulative exposure can result in severe radiation dermatitis, skin cancer, or cell damage.

Key Factors to Consider When Buying Lead Gloves

Not all radiation protective lead gloves are equal. When choosing, you must look for certified FDA 510(k) clearances, precise thickness ratings (such as 0.22mm or 0.30mm), and allergen safety profiles like lead-free bismuth.

How to Choose the Right Radiation Protective Lead Gloves

Choosing the correct shielding involves matching the glove type to the medical procedure. Surgical procedures require high tactile sensitivity and sterile gloves, while long fluoroscopic sessions might require thicker models.

How to Properly Care for and Store Lead Gloves

Proper storage maintains the structural integrity of your shielding material. Never fold, crease, or crunch lead gloves, as this can create micro-cracks in the bismuth radiation protection barrier.
